This page explains how catalog data on Superbuy Spreadsheet is structured and limited. Independent Superbuy research resource. Not operated by Superbuy. Numbers below are taken from the current site build, not marketing estimates.

What the catalog represents

The Finds catalog is a mapped product-data snapshot used for research browsing and ID lookup. It is not a live marketplace feed, not a Superbuy warehouse inventory list, and not a checkout catalog.

The current catalog build uses a fixed product-data snapshot dated August 23, 2026. Public wording treats that date as the snapshot reference for this build. The catalog is not described as live, real-time, or daily updated.

Record count and categories

  • 3434 normalized product records
  • 15 public research categories
  • Each product has one canonical category for browsing and filtering
  • Category assignment prefers deterministic mapping over duplicate public lanes

Promotional or raw source group labels are not used as permanent public category URLs. Category pages support research navigation; they are not ranking lists.

Identifiers

Product ID

Product ID is the unique record key in this catalog. Search and preflight treat an exact Product ID match as a single record identity.

Weidian ID

Weidian ID is a marketplace-side identifier and is not treated as the unique product-record identity here. The current snapshot includes cases where multiple records share one Weidian ID:

  • 20 duplicate Weidian ID groups
  • 48 product records belonging to those groups

Finds search and Product Link Preflight preserve every matching Product ID for a duplicated Weidian ID rather than silently collapsing to one row.

Search behavior

Finds supports product-name search plus exact Product ID and Weidian ID lookup, with category and CNY filters. Filter states do not create separate indexable SEO URLs.

Prices

CNY values are catalog/source snapshot prices. USD values are approximate planning conversions:

USD planning value ≈ CNY ÷ 7.2

The divisor 7.2 is a site planning value, not a live exchange rate, official FX quote, or checkout rate. External listing prices and market FX can change.

Missing prices

Records without a usable numeric price remain discoverable and display Price unavailable. They are excluded from numeric price filtering and are not treated as ¥0 products. The current snapshot includes 1 such record(s).

Destinations

Product cards may link to external detail destinations for further inspection. Those pages are outside this site. Availability, options, and price on the destination can differ from the snapshot.

Featured finds

Homepage Featured Research Finds are a deterministic representative sample of 16 products chosen for useful category coverage. They are not a ranking, not “best,” not “most popular,” and not verified products.

What this catalog does not confirm

  • Live inventory or current seller availability
  • Seller reliability or authenticity
  • Product quality beyond what a static card can show
  • Final checkout price
  • Shipping availability, shipping quotes, or customs outcomes
